On Wednesday, September 23, Tarrant County Health Department notified the City of Colleyville of positive test results for West Nile Virus in 2 of the 6 submitted mosquito samples for the week of September 17. The positive mosquito samples were located in the vicinities of 4100 Windermere Court and 6800 Milton Drive. This is the 35th sample that has tested positive for WNV in 2020.

The test sites will be treated with larvicide and are scheduled for continued treatment and testing. Residents within a quarter-mile of the sample area were notified by CodeRED. This triggered truck mounted fogging at this location. Fogging was conducted Wednesday night (9/23) and Thursday night (9/24).
